How It Works
From first conversation to a working assistant
No directory of resumes to sift through. We recruit for your role, train before we place, and stay involved once your assistant starts.
The reason we train before placing is that the alternative pushes the cost onto you. Someone learning inbox etiquette on your account is a hidden expense, so we take that on before your assistant ever starts.
The six steps
Consultation
We start with a conversation about your business: the tasks eating your week, the hours you need covered, and the tools your team already works in. Nothing is committed at this stage.
We recruit and screen
We go to market for your role. Candidates are evaluated on written and spoken English, reliability, and their working setup before any of them reach training.
Two weeks of paid training
Those who continue complete a structured, paid program covering inbox management, calendars, professional communication, and the norms of working with US businesses. We pay for that training, not you.
Matching and workflow prep
We select the assistant who fits your role and prepare them for your specific workflow and tools before their first day, so day one is work rather than orientation.
Introduction and onboarding
We host an introduction call, agree how you want to be updated, and set a clear reporting rhythm from the start.
Ongoing support
We stay involved. Regular check-ins with both you and your assistant mean small problems get raised early, instead of quietly becoming reasons to quit.
Who does what
The point of the arrangement is that most of it is not your problem.
We handle
- Recruiting and screening candidates
- Two weeks of paid training before placement
- Payroll and day-to-day management
- Backup coverage for planned absences
- Regular check-ins with you and your assistant
- A replacement at no additional charge if a placement is not working
You handle
- Telling us what you want delegated
- A short introduction call at the start
- Access to the tools your assistant will use
- Feedback when something is not right
If it is not working, we fix it
A placement that quietly underperforms is worse than no placement at all, so we would rather hear about it early. Raise it with us and we will work to remediate the issue. If it still is not right, we will match you with another trained assistant at no additional charge.
Common questions
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on the role and how specific your requirements are. Recruiting and the two-week training program both take real time, and we would rather place the right person than the fastest one. We will give you a realistic timeline during the consultation.
What does it cost?
One simple monthly fee, billed in advance. The fee depends on the role and the hours you need, so we quote it after the consultation rather than guessing at a number here.
What if the assistant is not working out?
Tell us. We will work to remediate the issue first, and if it still is not right we will match you with another trained assistant at no additional charge.
Do I manage the assistant directly?
You direct their work day to day, they are your assistant. We handle employment, payroll and performance management in the background, and stay available whenever something needs escalating.
What hours will they work?
Your business hours. Assistants are recruited and trained specifically to work US hours and to coordinate across US time zones.
